1. Services

Synscape Solutions provides accounting, bookkeeping, tax preparation, payroll, GST/HST filing, and related financial services to individuals and businesses. The specific scope of services provided to you will be outlined in a separate engagement letter or service agreement. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue any engagement at our discretion.

2. Client Responsibilities

As a client of Synscape Solutions, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and timely financial information and documentation required for our services
• Respond to our requests for information in a reasonable timeframe
• Review all completed work and notify us promptly of any errors or concerns
• Maintain your own copies of original documents provided to us
• Inform us of any changes to your financial situation that may affect the services we provide

You acknowledge that the quality and accuracy of our work depends in part on the completeness and accuracy of the information you provide.

3. Confidentiality

We treat all client information as strictly confidential. We will not disclose your personal or financial information to any third party except as required by law, with your express consent, or as necessary to perform the services you have engaged us to provide. Our confidentiality obligations survive the termination of our professional relationship.

4. Limitation of Liability

Synscape Solutions will perform all services with reasonable care and diligence. However, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Synscape Solutions for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, regardless of the form of action.

We are not responsible for penalties, interest, or other charges imposed by the Canada Revenue Agency or any other taxing authority resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you, or from your failure to meet filing deadlines when the delay is not attributable to our actions.

5. Fees and Payment

Fees for our services will be communicated prior to commencing work and may be based on the complexity and scope of the engagement. Payment is due upon receipt of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at a rate of 1.5% per month. If payment remains outstanding, we may suspend services until the account is brought current.

6. Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time by providing written notice. Upon termination, you are responsible for payment of all fees for services rendered up to the date of termination. We will return your original documents upon request, subject to resolution of any outstanding fees.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and design elements, is the property of Synscape Solutions Inc and is protected by Canadian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our website content without our prior written consent.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Alberta.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
